just incase you didn’t get enough the first time

So, aside from finding out today at physical therapy that I have a dislocated rib (whatttt? ouch! Don’t even ask me how I didn’t know.. I mean I knew something was wrong but YIKES!) I’m doing well, friends. Thanks for all the happy messages. You guys are wonderful.

80s lurkin

Two very insignificant magical things happened to me this evening (after a less than exciting day of cat sitting, homeworking, sitting in class and gymming (followed by more cat sitting/popcorn eating and homeworking)):

1. I learned how to write on pictures (yes, I learned that today #dontjudgeme)
2. I found this picture. You’re welcome, Beth + Marissa.

(And then, obviously, I put 1 & 2 together to create THIS masterpiece):The combination of this magical picture, with its epic text message quote from a not so epic boy (creeperface), is now forever saved as “80s lurkin” in my computer. Truth.

I should go to bed.
Nothing good happens for me after 10pm on week nights.
(except maybe this picture, and the whole text on photo thing, but you already knew that. worst blog post ever. sorry friends.)

doing nothingness and things

This break has been a long one and I’m still not ready to go back to school on Monday.

I’m sure you’re probably wondering what I’ve been doing for the last month since I’ve been on break and I don’t have a job (it’s probably keeping you up at night, right??). Well let me give you a little peek into my fancy life by telling you what I’ve done today:

I slept in and only came out of my room when Erin started yelling at me
(she had found something NASTY in a mouse nest (which is also nasty) in her drawer)
So, she and I went on a filthy basement mouse hunt and cleaned/tore apart her closet
(we gon find you, so you can run and tell that, homeboy!)
Then we decided that we deserved FroYo for all of our hard work
And we went to Yogurtland (for lunch, of course)
I got red velvet and oatmeal cookie and it was good
We talked about water dispensers
And then we came home and watched lots of The Big Bang Theory on demand
and to top off the day, later I’m having NBAC dinner at The Other Coast on capitol hill (yay)

See you guys, really exciting stuff. Anyway, when my friend Marissa suggested I do the #janphotooftheday thing on instagram I was all for it – some other mindless thing to fill my days with? Awesome.

It’s some bare minerals lip color my friend Beth got me for Christmas (it’s REALLY amazing) and my turban.

Again, really exciting stuff!

So I guess the point of this story is that: I’m bored but also so content filling my days with non-school related things. It’s really nice being able to do whatever I want all day long (even if that is mostly nothing). Maybe this is what life will be like after I graduate, and probably even after I take the bar (since I’ll probably be jobless)? I guess I’ll find out this summer.

Headaches & Monday & Pictures

I have been all complain, complain, complain lately and I'm sorry for that. But oh my, my head still hurts from my concussion. And today my doctor told me that this headache could last for months. Um, unacceptable? Also I've been learning the hard way that it's difficult to be positive when you're physically in pain. I need to do something about this ASAP. I'm just not sure what that I should do yet... does anyone have any good headache remedies (IB proufin just isn't cutting it)?
