frat party
here is some advice I've obtained from my friend Frat Party in the last 24 hours:
1.PARTY TIP: to succeed you need three things:
music, passion, and something to drink!!
2. take a shower with your sunglasses on
it's WAY more intense than you'd expect!
And here is a picture of Frat Party and I at Sharkez in Newport Beach, Cali last summer:

P.S. I nicknamed Drew "frat party" because he personified a frat party. The morning after this picture was taken the cops found frat party in a ditch and took him to the hospital. He was fine and definitely rallied the next night. Like a champ!

Story Time: London Assault
On Saturday night I went to my BFF Katie's apartment for a classy little holiday party. It was just us girls and we dressed up in heels and dresses and ate some good food. We were talking about traveling in Europe and of course this reminded Katie and I of the time we were assaulted in London. It was an awful experience but a good story, let me tell you about it:
So two days after I turned 21 I got on an airplane for the 2nd time in my life and headed to Europe (England specifically) to visit Katie, who was living there as an Au Pair. I hadn't slept in a few days because of the fact that I just turned 21 (par-tay) and the fact that I was really nervous about flying the night before my early morning departure- planes scare me, a lot. This sleepless was not helped by the fact that I was seated next to a French man on the plane who smelled like B.O. and who kept me awkwardly pressed up against the window for the entire 8 hour flight from Seattle to Paris.
When I finally made it to London it was morning there and Katie met me at the airport. We took a train into London where we were planning on staying at the Piccadelli Backpacker's Hostel. After getting off the London Underground I dragged my HUGE piece of luggage up, out of the subway system, into the middle of London. We wandered around Piccadelli Square (which is similar to NY's time square I guess) for a while. We finally found our hostel, locked our things in our shared, 4 person hostel room and wandered out into the city. We did some shopping (hello H&M for the first time ever - little did I know how much my love for H&M would grow over the years, especially when H&M came to Seattle), I heard "young folks" for the first time ever while shopping for Christmas ornaments, we ate Indian food, and I went to Harrod's for the first (and only so far) time ever. It was a really nice day.
Finally, we wandered back to our hostel and then to a nearby pub to grab a beer before bed. After one strong beer I was a little tipsy - I blame the lack of sleep - and the bar was closing so we walked out into the alleyway. As we were walking along, being loud and taking picture we came upon two guys who were about our age. It was one of their birthday, they felt the need to tell us, and I told them that it was just my birthday too, WOW! So we started talking and decided to wander with the random men to go get falafels or some other delicious street food.
While walking along with the boys we learned that they were from Amsterdam and they were a little out of control. We soon told them that we were tired and needed to head back to our hostel and quickly found out that, hey, they were staying at the same hostel as us. So they walked us back. They then invited us to their room for drinks. We were hesitant, being two innocent 21 year old girls from a small town in Washington, and so we said that we first wanted to our room to drop our things, planning on ditching out on the boys like little cowards. This is when we met, for the first time, our hostel roommates. After meeting them and realizing that one of them was not very friendly we decided to go have a drink with our new "friends". We went to their room and when we discovered that they were simply taking pulls from a bottle of liquor and talking about how going to prison in Amsterdam isn't nearly as bad as going to prison in America - because you don't have to worry about dropping the soap and getting it in the butt - we decided that maybe taking our chances with the hostel roommates really was the superior option. So, Katie and I, after about 5 minutes decided that we should tell the boys that we were tired and wanted to go. They wouldn't have this... So then we told them that we had to go to the bathroom, excused ourselves and ran back to our room.
Back at the room we had our first real conversation with our hostel roommies. One of them asked me why we were in England, I told him I was there for Thanksgiving break visiting Katie who was living there. The other roommie then told us that he hated Americans. AWESOME. With fear in my heart I told him I was Native American so I kind of hated Americans too... it was really all I had. Super shaken up, I then grabbed my toothbrush and gave Katie the look. She and I then went to the bathroom to brush our teeth and more importantly devised a plan to sleep together in one twin sized bottom bunk bed so that if we were to get attacked/raped in our sleep at least the other one would know and we could fight the American-hater-scary-roommate off of us and scream really loud for help, or something.
We hesitantly went back into our room, quickly crawled into a bed together and said goodnight. Not two minutes later we heard knocking on our door. We told the roommates that these guys were being weird to us and to just not answer it. They kept knocking and we could hear the boys from Amsterdam talking outside. After a few minutes they left and we thought we were in the clear. We thought wrong. Just a few moment later we hear their heavily accented voices approaching our door once again and then they started yelling at us to come our of our room. When we didn't answer, the crazy Amsterdam boys KICKED IN the door.
The door flies open and the roommate who didn't seem to hate Americans as much as the other, like a sweet sweet angle, swiftly jumped off the top bunk, ran after the boys and tackled one in the hall. The other Amsterdam boy bolted down the stairwell and ran back to his room. The American hater roommate went up to the office with us to get the manager while the favorite roommate held down crazy Amsterdam boy #1. The manager told us to stay in a room his office and went down to get the boys. We were in tears, hiding in a small little room in a hostel in a foreign country after having crazy foreign boys (who were most likely on drugs) kick in our door. After only being able to find the tackled Amsterdam boy, because the other was hiding like a little biatch in his room, the manager asked us if we knew what room they were in. We told him. Amsterdam boy #2 was apprehended and then the police came. Katie didn't want to give a statement because she had over-stayed her visit in the fine country of England and didn't want to be deported so we told them that we didn't want to press charges.
Needless to say, we got moved to a double room, the Amsterdam boys were kicked out of the hostel in the early hours of the morning, we had fear in our heart that they were going to come back and kick our door in again, and I definitely barely slept that night. I woke up the next morning feeling like I had the worst hangover ever (thanks to severe sleep deprivation and jetlag that lasted my entire week long trio), and a pretty good story about the time I was assaulted in a backpacker hostel in London.
red mill burgers
Sunday afternoon I went to Red Mill Burger on Phinney Ridge for lunch with Dustin. this was after I slept from midnight to 1:20pm. Finals just really wore me out. Anyway it was super delish (per usual). I got the blue cheese bacon burger with chicken breast instead of a beef patty. We also split some onion rings which were amazing. Post-finals satisfaction with my fav boy who took some candid shots of me eating my huge burger:

déjà vu
Never in my life have I had as much déjà vu as I have had this week. It's really weird. But I'm just going to take it as a positive thing, a la the Ken theory: when you get déjà vu it means you're where you're supposed to be and you're doing what you're supposed to be doing.
I got my latest bought of déjà vu while I was driving home today.
This morning I woke up after a nice 10 hour night of sleep and got ready for my day while wishing that I had an infinite amount of leggings, big sweaters, scarves and boots to wear during finals because they're super comfy but more attractive than sweats (and looking like shit for two weeks straight makes me feel like shit). During this I decided that I should make an appointment at the apple store because my phone has been acting up in a big way for the last day or so (especially late last night). So I made the appointment, went in and had them tell me that apart from buying a new phone there was nothing I could do. Fail. I then called my wonderful mom to vent, and she told me that if I wanted they would buy me a new phone as my christmas present. Best parents.
I then went to the library where I studied for a few hours. Then I met Leslie at Honey Hole for a little break and some lunch. We then went to Online Coffee for more studying + coffee. I finished my constitutional law outline there, and I feel pretty good about it.
Then, as I was driving home I started to stress out about the fact that I'm not stressing out over finals. Is this really all I have to stress over? haha. I actually feel really relaxed about the whole finals process this time around, which is a drastic difference from last year's finals. I mean, HUGE difference. And then I started feelign the déjà vu. Then I began to think that maybe this is how it's supposed to be. I mean, this is how I felt before my crim law final last year, and I did pretty well on that. Maybe I shouldn't be overly stressed? I'm not sure but I like this feeling and I like the déjà vu too.
I also think I may be able to attribute the low stress level to others who make my heart happy.... and déjà vu with them makes my heart happy too.

finals happiness
and I had a wonderful weekend despite the fact that it's finals time. I'm going to give most of the credit for this to one of my [new] favorite people... and to the UW win -- we're going to a bowl game!
anyway... favorite parts of the weekend:
leny's and a house party and jokes about walingford's acorns friday night
saturday apple cup win then tangletown then wine and the hangover (duh)
sunday sleeping in, delish breakfast made for me, study time with awesome playlist and company then venison din with the bestie in west seattle.
now it's time to get re-motivated and study study.

I heart Heather
for sharing this video with me. It's a pretty worthy study distraction (almost as worthy as the two men playing magic cards at the table next to Leslie and I... I wanted to fit into their HUGE backpack and go alone with them on their journey. I think it would have been more fun than outlining for Constitutional Law!)

It's amazing how right on your horoscope can be some days. I was honestly just thinking about how I need to re-center. I feel physically & especially emotionally off balance. I need to get back in center before finals really kick in.
December 1st:
You may find your emotions difficult to deal with, Scorpio, especially later in the day. Consider taking an intellectual instead of emotional approach. Your feelings could send you into a drastic mood swing from one end of the spectrum to the other. The thing you really need right now - especially tonight - is balance. Tie up any loose ends to maintain more equilibrium.

snow
its snowing snowing snowing [in seattle]
and sticking
I hope I can come home for thanksgiving
it's supposed to freeze into a giant block of ice tonight
(it = the city)
also, send me good vibes.
I have my oral argument for legal writing this evening... and then I'm done forever with legal writing!
but first I have to impress three judges and my LW2 professor with my awesome argumentative skills! - unless it snows a bunch, I guess.
"so when I say I want us to be together, just say you want me too and I'll be yours forever" -- a little walter meego this snowy morning, getting excited for the day! I love happy music in the morning!

hello saturday
Last night I went up to Phinney Ridge with my friend Dustin from Hood River. We hung out with his friends, ate tacos at El Chupacabra, drank beer. It was good to go somewhere I don't normally go. The last time I was up on Phinney ridge was almost a year ago, post 1L Fall finals with Greg from Ground.
Now I'm post up at my computer with a bag of Organic Sliced Apples (thanks Trader Joe's) and a jar of peanut butter, fat kid status.
I need to go work on my oral argument. But first: makeup.

birthday birthday
I'm 24 today!
last night I went out to auto battery with some of my favorites after a pre funk at my house. it was good times.
today kylee took me to get coffee, then I sat around with Erin, Andy and Katie and did nothing, then Chip and Katie came and got me and took me to McMenamins for some food, then to coldstone's for some birthday ice cream. favorite cousins :) so nice.
now I'm sitting on my couch with my fluffy cat, not wanting to go to school to print my brief.
but this text from last night made me laugh (I feel ya, sister):
(832):
Fuck men. I'm going to go eat a package of cookie dough and get fat. I hope I die of salmonella.

spring semester
ohh the perks of first registration of the 2Ls, I got all the classes I wanted for next semester, and more!
I'm taking:
Community Property with Aharons
Professional Responsibility (during the day)
Tribal Governmental Gaming
Family Dissolution
and either:
Indian Law and Natural Resources OR
Community Property...
I'm registered for both of them and IDK what to do. Community Property is on the Wa State Bar, and I love American Indians, we'll see what I choose (it'll probably depend on who I know in each class haha).
Anyway, good luck to everyone else trying to register today <3

a little McKuen before bed
An early thaw has made all canyons
into rivulets.
The daisies saying love me now
or love me not.
If I have thought about you more than
now it must have been some other me
living in a different heartbreak house
surrounded by some other hedge of memory.

still in lust
with this song
Also, Fluffy taught himself how to play fetch tonight. Ha.
And I made Venison stew for dinner. It was really delish. I patted myself on the back a little. Mm!
However, I'm so not in lust with the boy situation. I think I'll just stay really really single for a long long time, it's so much less stressful that way. Screw getting your hopes up for nothing.
Ok off to finish reading and go to bed so I can get up early and register for Spring Semester classes before Administrative Law then an Indian Law Journal meeting and then Constitutional law. Can this semester hurry up and be over? (but on the bright side, this weekend = 4 day birthday weekend, hooray)!

UW vs Stanford
We also went to the UW vs Stanford game this weekend while Danielle and Steffen were here. It was pouring down rain the whole time and we lost miserably. But the tailgates were fun. We went to Eric's (best man) parents's tailgate and to the ZTA alumni tailgate! We also walked from the stadium, around by U Vil home. Fun times (mostly haha).

new music
the new kings of leon album "come around sundown" came out today and I'm already in love! so good, so good!
Walking her home with the grassy field
Falling and laughing at the drinks we've spilled
Just one of those nights that I had to share
She's in the dare and without a care
We're gonna come together
We're gonna celebrate
We're gonna gather around
Like it's your birthday
I don't want to know just what gonna do
I don't care where your going I'm coming home with you

stoked
This week I turned in my motion brief for legal writing 2. Last week I did my first graded oral argument for Legal writing 2. It was recorded. I had to then go, upload the file and watch myself (scary). But I'm now 1/2 way done with legal writing. Whoo! Last night I had almost no homework so I went to Katie's for some homemade pesto - which she made into a pasta sauce and served over MEESE (or moose pasta which was actually "Elks" aka Elk). Mm BFF time and awesome food.
Anyway, I just found out that my Constitutional Law class tomorrow is cancelled (hooray! I mean, I still have to watch it recorded online but I don't have to go) which means that I get to leave for the homeland AKA White Salmon/Hood River at 11:45 am after Administrative Law, and skip [hopefully] all traffic on I5 South! Yay! Friday night my cousins are getting into town and we're going to have cousin/brother/family time. THEN Saturday morning is opening day of hunting season! Keep your fingers crossed that I get a BIG, delicious deer opening morning! Ha! I'm real excited!
Hopefully it will be another amazing weekend

IN RE: VALIDATION OF MARRIAGE OF FRANCISCO
(Supreme Court of the Navajo Nation, 1989. 6 Navajo Rptr. 134, 16 Indian L. Rep. 6113.)
says:
"Under traditional Navajo thought, unmarried couples who live together act immorally because they are said to steal each other"
I weirdly understand/agree with/like this.
I heart my Federal Indian Law class/readings.

fratty
I've had a super fratty weekend. It started on Friday with the Phi Alpha Delta initiation (the language of which and the dark, candle lit setting, and secret handshake reminded me a lot of sorority initiation). I feel like joining the law frat = awesome because it combines the best of both my worlds, my love for fratasticness and law school. I was in the pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta in undergrad, so it seemed only natural that I would join this too. After the initiation we fratted it up double kegger style in our business attire. It was a good time: beerpong victory, new friends, ice luge races, etc.
Yesterday Erin and I had a special sister roommie day together. We went to safeway then Paseo for some lunch - cuban sandwitches and a long line - it was delicious. Then we relaxed, watched tv, got dressed up in oddly matching outfits (I had mine on first, sister!) ie: strapless floral dress, brown boots, over the shoulder purses and feather earrings, wow. We went to a BBQ at our friends' apartment, friends = Pike frat boys we went to college with. We then cabbed it to Freemont and joined masses of people who were out enjoying Oktoberfest. We ended up cutting in line at the Ballroom, going inside, meeting boy Kylee (I think he said he spelled it Kielee or something like that), finding UW athletes to buy us drinks, then finding our Pike friends to buy us more drinks and shots and dance frat party style in a crowded, extremely hot and muggy room, then stumble home. It was a super fun night.
Today I babysat, but now it's time for homework, which I have clearly been avoiding all weekend. Good work, Rebeka!

I'm getting initiated into a law frat (phi alpha delta) then going to an after party, double kegger. Super fratty. I love it. And "educational" or something -- look at me getting involved.

bedtime
it's 8:17 and I'm getting tired. I was asleep before 10pm last night. Ahh law school, the things you do to me. I think tonight, though, I'm going to power through. I only have one class tomorrow at 10:30am before a super long weekend (= road trip to Provo, UT for the BYU/UW football game), although it is my hardest class: Administrative law = crazy professor who asks unreasonably hard questions and has me paralyzed, almost in tears fearing that he may call on me and drill me for 5 minutes even though I don't know the answer to his question. But I think I am going to power though my tiredness, not think about the fact that my one class tomorrow is difficult, and go out with a handful of my law school girlfriends to a speakeasy tonight! I've never been to a speakeasy and I'm pretty excited for the exclusivity of the situation (one of our friends is friends with the bartender or something along those lines so we're in). so I guess now I should get back to my admin law reading so I can shower, drink some coffee and get ready for the night. it's good to be back in seattle!

song of the day
Koza Plains by Great Waves (a local Sammamish band)
I wish I were going to bumbershoot so I could watch this lovely band. Heard this song for the first time last night, on my way home from grocery shopping on 107.7 the End's local's only show.
I'm stressing today, I have to give an oral argument tomorrow for legal writing. I'm really nervous. And I also have a ton of other homework to do. I should get off here and get back to work, I just wanted to share this song with all of you.

first night back
I'm back in Seattle now. School starts the day after tomorrow, NOT stoked. I bought two of my books today, bye bye $300. BOO. Yesterday Seattle greeted me with a traffic jam. I ended up going to Capitol Hill to meet Leslie last night. We went to Barca where we made friends with a table of guys. They seemed nice. After buying us a few drinks "Barry" zoomed in on me. We initially thought he was gay. He told me he was 52 years old, and then later amended his age to 38. Right. He was telling me that he is a. attractive, b. the owner of a house that I should come back to because it has both a jukebox and a waterfall in the backyard and c. the singer of a band that sounds like Nickleback. He then tried to convince me to go home with him, telling me that he wasn't going to sleep with me but he was definitely going to make out with me. I vommed into my own mouth a little then quickly sent an SOS text to Leslie who was outside. Barry then told me that the alleged 15 (I think more) year age gap between us was no big deal, because he was so attractive and cool. I quickly excused myself to go outside to find Leslie who was chatting with Barry's younger, more normal friend. Barry eventually got tired of me telling him he was having "crazy girl moments" after he repeatedly referenced our future marriage etc. and his friends dragged him away (he was very grumpy at this point). Moral of the story: you can go to a bar in Seattle and not know anyone in it, meet some crazies, and end your night eating a hotdog from a street vendor with your lovely law school friend. So different from my Hood River summer. Sigh.

last weekend of hood river summer: favs
I had an awesome friday night ending in amazing jack's time. Saturday night was more low key but I was surrounded by faves. Sunday = clothing swap where I got some good things, most memorable though: sweet sweet shoes! love it. and the evenings have been perfect and warm and magical... or maybe majestic ;)
P.S. the majestic unicorn is fixed! SO don't worry!
P.P.S. 3 more days of work

Hello,
How about that ride in? I guess that’s why they call it Sin City (hahaha)
You guys may not know this, but I consider myself…a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one man wolf pack. But when my sister brought Doug home, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack, it grew by one. So were two…so there was two of us in the pack. I…I was alone first in the pack, and then Doug joined in later.
And 6 months ago, when Doug introduced me to you guys. I thought…wait a second, could it be. And now I know for sure, I just added 2 more guys to my wolf pack. 4 of us wolves running around the desert together, in Las Vegas looking for strippers and cocaine. So tonight, we make a toast!

SUP
Today Greg took me Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUPing). It was a really nice day and I was stoked - I had been once before but had absolutely no instruction. We went out everything was going alright. I say alright because I kind of sucked but it wasn't that bad, UNTIL we got into the middle of the river and the wind started to pick up. I couldn't steer/keep my board straight and I was floating down the river. It was awful, especially since I can't swim. I was for sure I was going to end up at the dam and die or something. Needless to say Greg saved the day and paddled me back in. I was in fear blackout for most of the experience and then when I was walking my board back in once it got shallow (about 1/3 of the river there was shallow) I got judged by some kayakers. FML moment FOR SURE. I then laid on the grass at the event site while Greg took the board out with a sail on.
After that we went to Double Mt. for super delish Pizza and Beer (lovelove) and we ran into Greg's "friend" who told us about fairies and magic and the "castle" he is building. I kind of went into blackout mode during that too - blackout here = zone out mode haha.
So far my last day off this summer has been weird. Didn't find anything I loved at the Plenty sale, SUP fail, weird man while we were enjoying our lunch/din... but now I'm going to meet some lovelies at Waucoma club to see Joey play some music, then we're party time around Hood River. I'm stoked. Stopping on my way to get a sugar free redbull, then it's goooo time! haha.
Last weekend in Hood River: GO! Put your party pants on, friends!

my summer "break"
I took the past couple days off work to go to Seattle. Saturday night I spent in Fort Lewis at my cousins' house with brother Jim. We "played sports" and drank beer and hung out. I love fam time. Sunday morning I headed up to Seattle to move. Thanks to Ameet and sister Kelsey and sister Erin for all your help in moving me out of my 7th story downtown apartment. I said goodbye to my apartment and moved into my new house. Monday I unpacked all day, and did some other things. When Erin got off work we went to trader Joe's and got stuff for our fab homemade pizzas which we then made. Katie came over and ate our first meal with us, then Ameet came over. They left and we had a celebratory bottle of champagne, and then I was REUNITED with my Leslie who got back from Africa only a few hours before that. Yay. It was a good night. The next morning I woke up with strep. I went to the dr, waited in line for Paseo with Ameet and Erin, had Molly Moon's, watched sex and the city and weeds, and slept 13 hours. The next day I woke up, ran some errands, had some Zoka and drove home. Today I lasted 15 min at work before being sent home b/c I'm sicky pants. Feeling much better now, thanks to popsicles ♥

TREW party pics
Friday night I went to a DJed dance party at the TREW house. They seriously have the BEST parties -- ex: 4th of July. I had fun with my girls (Beth, Marissa and Lora) and my other lovely friends, had a tiny drama (what's a party without some drama?), and had a fun walk/hangout with Greg. Nights like this one make me remember why I heart Hood River!

home is wherever I'm with you
I'm writing this from my bed in my new house. yay.
yesterday was moving day. I was sad to say goodbye to my downtown apartment. Moving is hard for me, not so much physically (even though getting everything I own down from a 7th floor apartment was difficult ha, totally sore today!) but it's the mental move from one location to another that gets me. It's hard for me to say goodbye to those memories and its weird saying goodbye knowing that I'll never live there again.
Yesterday when I was driving away from the apartment with my last load of things I started thinking of the day I found that apartment; Brian and I had come up to Seattle to go on an apartment hunt. We hunted for a day and a half. I was exhausted. The apartment I ended up in was the first apartment we looked at, we really had no idea what we were doing. We looked at some ghetto apartments, walked around, ate McDs Frenchfries, and sushi, took a break at gasworks park, went to Earl's, escaped to a hotel so we wouldn't have to drink anymore haha. It was a totally mentally/physically exhausting day. I am glad he was there with me for that. And even though everything didn't work out the way I had hoped it would, I still changed a lot and became more aware of who I am and what I want while I was living in my apartment. That has faded into a memory and I guess it's time to make some new memories in my new home (which is SO nice P.S.).
I'm living here with Kylee and Erin (who I lived with in the sorority and Erin and I go to law school together). It's ideal. SISTER ROOMMIES FOREVER.
I have nothing to do today, really. I think Katie is going to come over later (hooray) and Erin and I were talking before she went to work about maybe christening the house tonight with a few friends and a few adult beverages. I'm excited. I might walk up to Zoka after I shower and get some coffee too. I hope the clouds burn off so that I can enjoy some sunshine on my days off!
Anyway, time to shower and do good things with my life!

can't decide can't decide
I'm supposed to go to my friend's wedding tomorrow, but my SUPER cool date bailed on me. epic fail, DB! Now my family (cousins Chip and Katie, and Tad and my brother) are going to par-tay together up at Chip and Katie's tomorrow night. I have to be up there-ish (they live at Ft. Lewis and I have to be in Seattle) REALLY early Sunday morning anyway to move, so now I'm contemplating not going to this wedding which will undoubtedly be a high-school reunion and instead getting wasti with my FavFam!
today I had the day off and it was fab. I woke up, got ready, got coffee for me, Emma and Jon, had lunch with Emma, went to Wal Mart and got pretty supplies with Emma, got my mom coffee, came home, laid in the sun and did my nails, watched the office, took a nap. Now my mom is cooking dinner. Later dance party at the TREW boys' house. I'm really excited. Their 4th of July party was so much fun, this should be good too!
not working for a few days will be good for my heart. Getting away from the same exact thing every day in Hood River will also be a VERY good thing. I don't work again until the 5th. I'll be in Seattle for most of it (yay yay) moving, AND my lovely LOVEY Leslie gets back from Africa on the 2nd! I cannot wait to see her! Hello Summer!
House Warming party to come soon. Sister Roommies Erin and Kylee and myself are goign to have the bestttt house. Epic times ahead, get ready!

run run run
I'm getting really tired of my job mixed with a ton of friend and job drama. So yesterday when I got off work Emma, Tristan and I went to Seattle. We left hood river around 7:30 and drove up. When we got there we pit-stopped at my apartment then went to Cha Cha's for one drink before they stopped serving. Then we had some photo-booth action. Then I RAN across the street for a hotdog. YUM.
Today we woke up and walked downtown. We went to Pike Place Market, got coffee, had some breakfast, then went to Nordstrom and H&M. We then went back to my place, gathered our stuff and met Katie in West Seattle. After that we drove around Alki, got on I5 and drove home. I wish we didn't have to leave. I love Seattle and now that I'm home I'm already bored. Someone help. AH!

I've been being totally slacker lately.
ground and lovely friends have been consuming my time.
it's getting to be hood river summer and we've been making some new friends.
also, I am going to paint my nails sunshine color and long for the sun.
What's with this every-day-rain, wettest-ever-june (by the 3rd day)?
my ginger skin needs to end, come here sunlight and pigment.
PC05 reunion this weekend.
also, missing my apartment, always.

right in the middle of it all
as I sit on my couch eating nonfat cottage cheese straight from the carton I know that I should be studying. Today I lasted a whole 20 minutes at the library before heading to my rooftop deck with Trevor for some sun and "studying" (aka lounging on the deck chairs with sunglasses, pretending to read). I love Sunny Seattle.
Natalie and I decided that post-finals we will drink all day. This is going to start off by sitting on her or my (across the st. from each other) rooftop with magazines (I LOVE and miss magazines, vogue, cosmo, people) and mimosas. I can't wait. Can you say carrot?
two more finals before I'm done with my first year of law school. I have Property on Monday and then Torts on Thursday.
Yesterday after my contracts final I took a break from school. I hung out with Leslie, had some drinks and ate some yummy food. Barca is amazing. Best mexican food I've had since Mexico! I want to go back and eat it non-stop! haha! Also, AMAZING margaritas there! I'm happy about it. After that we went to Earl's for Leslie's first ever time. It was a good time. I miss undergrad!!
