Today has been pretty legit minus the fact that it's a Sunday. Sundays can be such bummers sometimes. I mean, with all the homework and the stress of the looming work that the week ahead holds. Anyway with that being said, it really hasn't been a horrible Sunday so far. It was mostly sunny today, which is always a welcome thing here in Seattle. I spent some time this morning with Dustin before I went to get a massage (which is always my favorite way to spend a morning - he just makes my mornings so much happier. Him and coffee, coffee definitely helps too haha)!
My massage was less painful than last time (so thankful for that). My massage guy (yes, guy... kind of awkward, but whatever. He's really nice and I seem to be feeling much better so I'm going to go ahead and thank his healing hands for that ha) said it is because the inflammation from my injury is starting to heal and go away, which is awesome. I'm glad to not be feeling tons of pain all the time anymore. I just can't handle that.
After my massage I came home for a little bit and ate a small lunch (leftover Taco from my dinner date with Dustin on Thursday) and a sugar free pudding cup. Nom. Then I went to Trader Joe's (it's never good to go grocery shopping on an empty stomach). After I came home, unpacked and organized my food area a bit, Dustin showed up for some study time. BUT, he also brought me a gift (so wonderful, that one). LOOK:

Anyway, he bought me a super cute pair of
Haviannas. He kept talking about how wonderful his are - apparently his friend went to Brazil a while back and brought him home a pair. They're made of
REAL rubber (there is fake rubber? who knew?) and he swears by them. Anyway - he kept, to no avail, trying to get me to try on his pair (old, used, too big flip flops? no thanks!). So he finally gave up and bought me my own pair. He's seriously the sweetest (thanks, you)!
As I was saying, he came over and we did some productive things: he studied for his training test that he has coming up and I worked on my Indian Gaming paper and my Community Property reading. We also took a break to walk around the block in the sun because my back was hurting from sitting for too long. I love walks in the sun. Also the tulips are starting to bloom right now. So are the daffodils and dogwood trees. So many of my favorite things (boy + sun + favorite spring flowers = happy girl).
After Dustin started to feel the Sunday stress and headed home I made myself some dinner:

Green curry (chicken, peppers and rice) and shrimp potstickers. It was super nom. I was pretty proud of myself. Also I have leftovers which I'm stoked about (I'm all about easy lunches I can put in Tupperware and take to school with me). And right as I was finishing my dinner Kylee came home with a bunch of cupcakes, so of course that means I had a dark chocolate cupcake for dessert, and it was delicious!
Ohh also, yesterday I volunteered with the First Responder's Will Clinic during the afternoon. Then I chilled with Erin/Fluffy for a while until Erin had to go to a birthday dinner. After she left Dustin came over and took me on a date to
Kisaku. It's a sushi place in Tangletown (aka right near my house). It was delish. We tried going on Thursday but failed because it was Seattle restaurant week and it was super busy. Instead we walked down a block and decided on
Bandolero where we had some alright chips & salsa and tacos and I had an AMAZING tequila/grapefruit/agave/cinnamon drink (and then another when Art and Amy showed up and Amy decided she wanted one too)! After that we all went to Lenny's for a beer. Anyway, back to last night, I had a sushi date with some saki which equated to a wonderful dinner with a wonderful boy. Afterward we decided we were tired so we went to 7-11 and rented "love and other drugs" (def my choice) from the Redbox and got a 6pack of beer and came back to my house and chilled. It was a perfect Saturday evening.
Now you all know what I've been doing lately (well the fun things I've been doing lately. I mostly left out the boring homework-y things ha). I guess now I should stop procrastinating and finish my Community Property reading for tomorrow. Byee!
